Build it is a division of The SPAR Group Limited which is listed on the JSE. The core business of Build it is the supply of building materials and hardware through retail outlets in Southern Africa. 

The retail outlets are independently owned and together with the Build it division, operate as a voluntary trading group. 

Build it is committed to the skills upliftment of all its customers, from home builders to DIY enthusiasts.

Edition one and two has been issued to all the Build it stores nationally with the balance of the booklets being issued over the next 4 months with the complete set being available from June 2008 nationwide.
